The nearest airport is Da Nang International, about 30 km to the north; a taxi or the hotel's airport shuttle covers the trip in roughly 45 minutes, while public bus number 01 between Da Nang and Hoi An is the cheapest option, running through the day for a few thousand dong. Hoi An itself has no train station, so most travellers arrive via Da Nang. Once here, the old town is car-free during the day, and everything is best reached on foot or by bicycle, which the hotel rents; taxis and Grab ride-hailing are easy to arrange at reception for short hops or a beach run.
You are a five-minute stroll from the lantern-lined heart of Hoi An, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1999. For a change of pace, An Bang Beach lies about 4 km away, the Tra Que herb village sits just to the north, and boat trips run along the Thu Bon River. Don't leave without trying the local specialities — cao lau noodles and white rose dumplings — at the riverside stalls. Spring and late summer bring the most comfortable weather, while October and November can see heavier rain.
